mostar_airportMinister of Communication and Transport of B&H, Damir Hadžić handed over the permanent certificate of the airport operator for the reference airplane Airbus A 320 -200 to the Director of International Airport in Mostar Marin Raspudić, today in Mostar.

“Mostar Airport today operates within all international standards. Passengers are increasingly directed towards the Mostar airport, which last year and the year before recorded the highest post-war passenger number, of about 80.000. More and more passengers come to Mostar by airlines and continue their journey towards the Adriatic cost. I am confident that our efforts in terms of the full affirmation of Mostar airport will lead to an improvement of the economic, commercial and tourist competitiveness of the whole Herzegovina region”, said the Minister Hadžić.

The Directorate of Civil Aviation of B&H issued a certificate for the public use of airport by fulfilling the conditions defined by laws and establishing the ability to perform operations to the public.

Mostar airport after Sarajevo and Tuzla airport became the third airport in B&H to receive a permanent license. From now on it is up to the airport management to continue to maintain the achieved standards and prescribed requirements.
