The team of the Mostar Center for Education, Robotics, Innovation and Technology (CERIT) will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the upcoming International Robotics Olympiad “FIRST Global Challenge 2023”, which will be held in October in Singapore.
They dedicated their stay at the University to the improvement of the robot, which they carefully prepare during the summer vacation for the competition. Their work received significant support and guidance from prominent experts such as Tarik Namas and Amar Hodža, whose expertise and experience contributed to useful suggestions and suggestions for raising the quality of the robot to a higher level.
The students had an extraordinary opportunity to work in well-equipped laboratories equipped with CNC machines, laser and plasma cutters, 3D printers and other modern equipment. They worked in the laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, as well as in the physics laboratory, where prototypes are tested.
“This rich and advanced infrastructure enabled team members to turn their creative ideas into reality and bring their robots to a level of excellence. This experience at the International University of Sarajevo is an unforgettable journey for all CERIT members. Working side by side with the university’s experts represents an exceptional opportunity to learn and share knowledge. Team members enjoyed the process of creating and improving their robots, while at the same time connecting with experts who share the same passion for science and robotics,” the statement said.
