The world media recently reported that Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Saudi Arabia with his former coach.

The media wrote that Jose Mourinho contacted Cristiano Ronaldo and asked him if he would join him in Fenerbahçe after the end of his contract with Al Nassr.

But Mourinho denied it.

“The news about Cristiano Ronaldo and Fenerbahce is ridiculous. Cristiano can come to Istanbul for lunch because it is halfway between Saudi Arabia and Portugal. And maybe he comes to see his old friend Jose. We will eat in my hotel,” said Mourinho.

Mourinho managed Ronaldo at Real Madrid. The Portuguese scored 68 goals in 79 games for Al Nassr, where Marcelo Brozović also plays.
