At the combat training ground of the Armed Forces of BiH (OSBiH) in Manjaca, the evaluation exercise “Dynamic response 23 5/6” according to the NATO concept of operational capabilities, evaluation and feedback (OCC E&F) began today, in which the 5th and 6th infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This is the first time that this type of exercise is organized at the national level, where according to NATO standards the level of training and competence of the members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina is checked, applying the already mentioned concept of operational capabilities, and this method of evaluation was applied during the evaluation exercises of our declared units, it was announced from Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
One battalion from two infantry brigades is participating in the exercise in combination with other elements and under the supervision of evaluators from the Training and Doctrine Command of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
First, the brigade commands were evaluated, and what follows in the following days are exercises and activities in which techniques, tactics and procedures will be checked, with the help of which the level of training and competence of the battalion commands and the members of these units will be assessed and evaluated.
After last year the light infantry battalion combat group underwent this type of evaluation, with the presence of evaluators from NATO countries and partner countries, this year it will be realized only and exclusively by evaluators from the Armed Forces of BiH who will check the level of training and competence of the mentioned units.
The beginning of the exercise “Dynamic response 23 5/6” was monitored by the commander of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Major General Radovan Ilić, with his deputies, General Kolenda and Brigadier Lubenović, in the presence of the Commander of the 5th Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Emir Klica, the Commander of the KOiD, Brigadier Blavicki, and the Commander of the ZSiPZO Brigade, Brigadier Krajšumović.
