Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer today supported the recommendation of the European Commission for the start of accession negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The state worked persistently on reforms and achieved enormous progress. Austria has been and will remain a strong partner for the countries of the Western Balkans and their European integration. I am glad that our effort has been worth it so far and will continue to be,” the chancellor’s office announced.
