adnan-4x358-1811769As the island media reports, the eighteen-year-old Adnan Maric from Gorazde is going to debut soon for the first Swansea team in the Premiership.

To recall, Maric was born on February 17, 1997, and on July 1, 2015 he signed a contract with Swansea. He is currently playing for Swansea U-21, and before coming to the Island, he was a standard member of the Swedish youth teams and he played for GAIS Geteborg, Gunnilse IS etc. He is playing as the defensive midfielder, which is his natural position, although he can successfully adjust to the central positions, as well as a central midfielder.

However, the Maric family are originally from Gorazde and, as Adnan says, after the aggression on B&H – in order to seek their one fortune, they moved to Sweden to Gothenburg, where he was born. “Shortly after I was born, we had to return to Gorazde, so my first football steps were made on Drina”, said talented Adnan.
