The program Coffee With… was created to be a conversation between guests of the SFF, eminent filmmakers, and journalists. According to head of the SFF Mirsad Purivatra, the SS Directorate this year improved the program and opened it to the audience.
“We wished to offer all visitors who watched a movie in the Open Air the opportunity to meet with festival guests, to speak with them and to ask questions. We think that this adds more value to the festival’’, said Mirsad Purivatra.
All guests that are presented at the Open Air program in Coffee With… will be open the next day at 11:00. This program will take place also at 15:00, where special guests and projects will be presented.
Commenting on the sale of tickets at the main box office, Purivatra said that the public is showing great interest for all screenings at the SFF.
“Ticket sales are going well and fits in with what we wanted this year, and that is for the audience of all ages to view as many movies. SFF brings good and quality movies that cannot be viewed neither on TV nor in cinemas’’, said Purivatra.
Asked about the status of applications of SFF for funds from the Media European Commission for the support of culture, Purivatra said that two applications of SFF were assessed as the best among European festivals.
“Our industrial segment CineLink will receive a contract in the next few days, and regarding the festival, we hope that we will finish it by the end of the week. We are speaking about funds that are bigger than what the local community gives’’, said Purivatra.
He said that during the festival 15 directors of regional companies and partner companies would arrive and would hold meetings. They will be directors and managers of the following companies: HT Eronet, Raiffeisen, Laško, Atlantic Group, ASA, Loreal, DHL, Disti, Gentile, Ina, Turkish Airlines, Media Fund of EU and others.
