Elon Musk, Prince Andrew, Peter Thiel, Steve Bannon, Bill Gates, and other prominent individuals are the latest to be named in connection with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, after his estate handed over a third series of documents to the congressional oversight committee.
Little Saint James
In more than 8.500 new files released to the public by Democratic representatives in the United States (U.S.) House committee, connections of several well-known people with Epstein were revealed. The documents include messages, flight logs, financial records, and schedules.
According to Epstein’s notes, the head of Tesla, SpaceX, and X, Elon Musk, was invited to the notorious island Little Saint James in December 2014. Musk previously stated that he declined the invitation and that he had no connection with Epstein, denying any guilt.
In a 2000 flight log, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, was listed as a passenger on a flight from New Jersey to Florida, together with Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell. Financial documents also mention payments for massages for “Andrew,” but it has not been confirmed whether this refers to the prince. He has denied all accusations so far.
Among the “partners” is also Peter Thiel, but also Trump’s former adviser Steve Bannon
The documents also reveal that entrepreneur and Republican Party donor Peter Thiel was scheduled for lunch with Epstein in November 2017, while former Trump adviser Steve Bannon was listed for breakfast on February 17th, 2019. Microsoft founder Bill Gates is mentioned in the context of a planned breakfast in December 2014.
There are no indications that those mentioned in the documents were aware of Epstein’s criminal activities. Epstein died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial for human trafficking and sexual exploitation of minors. Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence, and her lawyers are trying to challenge the verdict.
