The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has adopted a decision on the allocation for the use of 11 new official passenger vehicles owned by the Service for Joint Affairs of the bodies and institutions of the FBiH. The vehicles will be assigned to the Vice Presidents of the FBiH, certain federal ministries and agencies, as well as the General Secretariat of the FBiH Government. All vehicles were manufactured in 2025, and the models are Audi A6 and Skoda Superb. The total procurement value amounts to 900.854.86 BAM excluding VAT, or 1.053.999.19 BAM with VAT included.
Three Audi A6 vehicles have been allocated to the highest-ranking users within the FBiH. One vehicle is used by FBiH Vice President Refik Lendo, the second by Vice President Igor Stojanovic, while the third Audi is intended for the needs of the FBiH Government through the Service for Joint Affairs. All three vehicles have the same configuration – Audi A6 TDI quattro S tronic, with a diesel engine producing 150 kilowatts and black metallic paint.
The remaining part of the fleet consists of Skoda Superb vehicles. Two cars in the 2.0 TDI version with an output of 110 kilowatts have been allocated to the Federal Agency for the Management of Seized Assets and the Civil Service Agency of the FBiH. Another six Skoda Superb vehicles, in the 2.0 TDI 4×4 variant with 142 kilowatts of power, have been assigned to the Federal Ministry for Veterans’ Affairs and Disabled Veterans of the Defensive-Liberation War, the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sport, the General Secretariat of the FBiH Government, as well as the Service for Joint Affairs for the needs of the Government.
The Government’s decision specifies that all costs related to the use of the vehicles are to be borne by the institutions to which the cars have been assigned. This includes registration, comprehensive insurance, fuel, regular and extraordinary servicing, any damage, as well as all other extraordinary costs. Responsibility for implementing the decision lies with the Service for Joint Affairs and the users of the vehicles, each within their respective competencies.
The procurement of the official vehicles was carried out at the end of December last year, and according to the data, the public procurement procedure was conducted through three separate lots, depending on the class and value of the vehicles. The most expensive lot referred to three upper mid-range vehicles up to 120.000 BAM, for which the contracted value amounted to 306.837.66 BAM excluding VAT, and the contract was awarded to the company M.R.M. Export-Import d.o.o.
The second lot included six upper mid-range vehicles up to 90.000 BAM, with a total value of 459.401.79 BAM excluding VAT, while in the third lot, two mid-range vehicles up to 80.000 BAM were procured, valued at 134.615.41 BAM excluding VAT. For these two lots, the selected bidder was the company Hercegovina Auto d.d. Export Import.
The allocation of new official vehicles regularly attracts public attention, especially in the context of overall public spending. In this case, the FBiH Government emphasizes that the vehicles remain the property of the Service for Joint Affairs, while all financial obligations related to their use are assumed by the institutions to which they have been made available.
