New Indictments for Murders and Torture of Men and Boys in Srebrenica

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against four individuals charged with crimes against humanity in the Srebrenica area in 1995.

The indictment was filed against:

-Jevtić Milan, born in 1961 in Vlasenica,
-Čalmić Rajko, born in 1952 in Milići,
-Perišić Ostoje, born in 1958 in Vlasenica,
-Milanović Dejan*, born in 1946 in Milići.

The defendants are charged with having participated, in their capacity as battalion commanders and members of the Milić Light Infantry Brigade of the VRS, in the capture and execution of a group of 31 Bosniak men and boys, who were executed at the Jasikovača site after the fall of the UN-protected area of ​​Srebrenica in July 1995.

The accused Perišić is also charged with the individual executions of the survivors, and the accused Jevtić and Milanović with the personal removal and murder of one prisoner each.

The accused are charged with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
