‘’Since 2011 until now we have a trend of an increase in the number of people who are employed by our program. Since 2011, when 4.400 people were employed, the number increased to 10.000, as we expected for this year. One of the reasons is that the FB&H government allocated from the budget 10 million BAM for program of employment’’, said Kenan Rešo, Director of FZZZ.
This year as well, a program was made for the employment of Roma. It is expected that 100 members of the Roma population would receive jobs through this program, and for this purpose 620.000 BAM has been allocated by the B&H Council of Ministers and the FB&H government.
‘’The second program is the preparation for work where we can customize the needs of the economy and employers in B&H. The goal is to acquire what an employer needs through the acquisition of knowledge, and that is a competent work force. The measures are facing the manufacturing industry, leather, textiles and the like, and it is expected that 1.500 people will receive jobs’’, said Rešo.
The program of cofinancing employment and cofinancing the acquisition of first working experience will allow the employment of people who are older than 40 years and are not able to find a job.
‘’For the first time we are introducing a certificate that would allow for the easier employment of unemployed people older than 40 years ago and who are waiting at the Employment Bureau for 24 months’’.
Also, under this program seasonal employment will be co-financed. This would be primarily for unskilled people, regardless of work experience or age, of which there are is a numerous amount at the unemployment register. With this, 1.000 people would receive the chance to work for three months.
