A new earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit Istanbul today, Turkey’s disaster management agency said.
Several strong tremors were felt in the western part of the city at 7:33 p.m. Central European Time, but they were weaker than on Wednesday.
There was no immediate report of damage or injuries.
A magnitude 6.2 earthquake and aftershocks on April 23 injured more than 150 people in Turkey’s largest city.
