Number of Persons in paid Employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina is 832.200

In February 2019, the number of persons in paid employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina is 832.200, out of which 360.918 women, According to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Agency for Statistics.

As compared to January 2019, the number of persons in paid employment decreased by 0,2% and the number of employed women also decreased by 0,1%.

The number of registered unemployed persons in February 2019 compared to January 2019 decreased by 0,8% and the number of unemployed women also decreased by 0,8%.

In February 2020, the average monthly paid off net earnings per person in employment in legal entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 941 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 1,1% as compared to December 2019, according to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Agency for Statistics.

In comparison to February 2019 the average monthly paid off net earnings for February 2020 was nominally by 5,1% higher.

In February 2020, the average monthly gross earnings per person in employment in legal entities in BiH amounted to 1.452 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 1,2% as compared to December 2019.

In comparison to February 2019 the average monthly gross earnings for February 2020 was nominally by 5,4% higher.
