Nusret Selimovic appointed as Police Commissioner of the Sarajevo Canton

During the first part of the 33rd regular session held on Tuesday, the Sarajevo Canton Government decided to appoint Nusret Selimovic as police commissioner of the Sarajevo Canton.

Selimovic was also nominated as the first-ranked candidate by the Independent Committee of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly.

By the same decision, Selimovic, former Inspector General at the Police Directorate, was awarded the rank of Inspector General of Police.

The term of the appointed Police Commissioner will be four years.
