Olympic Center Jahorina is actively working on new projects. Activities regarding the construction of an artificial lake, a dam and a system of artificial snowing at Jahorina Mountain are currently taking place, and they are aimed to extend the ski season.

From the OC Jahorina confirmed that the process of obtaining an environmental permission for the system of artificial snowing and water accumulation system is currently ongoing.

As they noted, that is the necessary precondition for obtaining a building permit in order to start with the realization of the aforementioned project.

“All interested parties can take a look at the documentation in the headquarters of the Municipality of Pale and the Municipality of Trnovo in the next 30 days, from April 2, 2018,” as stated from the OC Jahorina. They also added that the main aim of the project is to increase the level and quality of services, to increase the number of users and to increase the revenue.

They noted that the company is actively working on the expansion of the ski center, enriching their offer, increasing the skiing capacity and extending the duration of the season.
