She emphasized she asked for detailed information on this matter and other issues from area of defense industry which were delivered to the Ministry while Boris Tucić was the minister, given he worked alone without consulting with the deputy and secretary, which is why she is not familiar with the case.
Salkičević-Dizdarević added that after she receives official information and reviews the entire situation she will be able to answer if the license for export will be signed.
She explained that the BiH Presidency also discussed the case and that their stance needs to be considered, although the Law on Control of Foreign Trade of Goods and Services of Strategic Importance for the Security of BiH does not mention the Presidency.
She stated that she started working officially as Deputy Minister in capacity of a Minister yesterday, and that she received a memo from Unis Group which mentions amount of 10 million BAM, and given it is the best export branch in BiH everything should be done to help those companies to keep their export position which is ascending.
”Economy can count on my support and I believe that during my work and contacts with businessmen I have showed that, but we must respect procedures and review what was happening in the Ministry concerning this issue because it is a serious matter,” emphasized Salkičević-Dizdarević.
