Official reception of Pope Francis at Sarajevo International Airport is scheduled for 9:00 o’ clock, after which welcoming ceremony will be organized in the front of the building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Later on, Pope Francis will have a conversation with the authorities under which he will hold his speech.
The thing that all the Catholic faithful believers are eagerly looking forward to is the Holy Mass, which will be held at 11 o’clock at the stadium Koševo. The Mass will approximately last about an hour.
The afternoon part of the visit is reserved for bishops with whom the Pope will have lunch, and the priests, monks, nuns, and seminarians who will be addressed in the Cathedral.
Ecumenical and interreligious meeting is planned for 17:30 o’clock, in Franciscan International Centre, after which the Pope will go to Archdiocesan Youth Center “Ivan Pavao II”, where he will address the youth. Farewell ceremony for Pope from the airport is planned for 19:45 o’ clock.
We recall that only registered believers, who will receive their ticket in their parishes, will be able to attend the Mass.
