OHR statement on declaration adopted today at SNSD party congress

“As the High Representative has made clear in the past, Bosnia and Herzegovina is an internationally recognized state whose sovereignty and territorial integrity is guaranteed under international law and by the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Under the Peace Agreement, entities have no right to secede from Bosnia and Herzegovina and only exist by virtue of the Constitution of BiH. The constitutional structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina can only be changed in accordance with the amendment procedure prescribed in the Constitution of BiH. No party paper can change these facts.”
