European and American stock indexes were on the rise yesterday, as well as oil and gold prices.
The DAX index of the Frankfurt stock exchange rose to 16,663.15 points at 10:00 a.m. yesterday, as did the French CAC 40 – to 7,476.23 points, the London FTSE 100 – to 7,536.08 points and the Moscow MOEX – to 3,092.04 points.
The value of the American stock index Dow Jones jumped to 36,117.38 points before yesterday‘s opening of the stock market in the United States (U.S.), as well as the value of the S&P 500 index – to 4,585.59 points and the value of the Nasdaq index – to 14,339.99 points.
According to stock exchange data, the price of crude oil rose to $71,081 per barrel, and the price of Brent oil rose to $76,067.
European gas futures were sold yesterday at the opening of the TTF stock exchange at a price of 40,500 euros per megawatt-hour, reports Tanjug.
The price of gold rose to $2,029.11 per ounce (an ounce equals 28.35 grams), and wheat fell to $6.1655 per bushel (a bushel equals 27.216 kg).
The value of the euro against the dollar was 1.07863, which is roughly the same as on Thursday, Biznis Info reports.
