The cantonal court in Bihać ordered a one-month detention for Mehemed Vukalić, a suspect in the triple murder at the gymnasium in Sanski Most.
The court made the decision on the proposal of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Una-Sana Canton.
On August 21, Vukalić, a janitor at the Sanski Most high school, killed school director Nijaz Halilović, English teacher Gordana Midžan and secretary Nisveta Kljunić, and then tried to commit suicide.
Due to his injuries, he was treated at the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska in Banja Luka, and after his release from the hospital, he was handed over to the police of the Una-Sana Canton.
