The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office suggested to the Sarajevo Cantonal Court that the suspected tram driver be detained for one month.
As reported, detention was proposed due to the danger that the suspect’s release could cause public disturbance.
Officers of the Police Department of the Ministry of Inteterior of Sarajevo Canton arrested the tram driver A. K. (1978) on suspicion of being responsible for a serious traffic accident that occurred on Thursday near the Technical School, in which one person was killed and four were injured.
