One-month Detention to Two Afghans for attempted Murder

At the proposal of the acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office, the Cantonal Court ordered a one-month detention for two Afghan citizens for the criminal offense of attempted murder.

Their detention was ordered due to the risk of flight, the risk of influencing accomplices, concealing evidence, repeating the criminal offense, and the risk that the suspects’ remaining at large could cause public unrest.

Ismail Ghani and Faisal Ahmadzai are suspected of having shot six migrants with rifles and pistols on Kamenolom Street two nights ago, two of whom sustained serious, life-threatening injuries.
