Goethe Institutes from these 11 countries of Southeast Europe are organizing the exhibition: Albania, B&H, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldavia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Cyprus, and in cooperation with the Museum of Photographs of Braunsch Qeig (Germany).
Photographs, video works and installations of 20 artists will be presented.
Today’s opening of the exhibition in Sarajevo will be accompanied by a discussion that will begin at 18:30. During the panel discussion, artists and curators will present various perspectives and artistic approaches to issues and problems of cultural memory.
On Saturday, 14 September Milomir Kovačević Strašni will guide visitors through their own recorded memories.
