The new ski season at the Adria Ski Sports and Recreation Center on Cajusa in Kupres officially begins today, January 2nd, the center’s management has confirmed.
Thanks to favorable meteorological conditions, as well as the bora wind that further cooled the air and water, with the air temperature dropping below 6 degrees, optimal conditions have been created for additional artificial snowmaking using the water cannons available to the center, which will make the ski slopes fully ready for use.
The center also points out that all slopes are interconnected and are located just a few dozen meters from the central hotel complex.
From Friday, the S slope and the Double Chairlift slope will be in operation, along with the accompanying lifts, and the ski resort will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This ski resort currently has five ski lifts: a four-seater chairlift with a length of 1.850 meters, one chairlift (double chair) 980 meters long, two “anchor” drag lifts with lengths of 1.080 and 1.150 meters, and one “baby lift” 300 meters long.
According to information from the center, the prices of accommodation and other services have not changed significantly compared to last year and are considerably more favorable than those at other European ski resorts.
Kupres traditionally attracts a large number of guests from Herzegovina and Dalmatia, and good results are expected there, similar to those achieved last season.
