Orange Warning issued due to expected heavy Rainfall

The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an orange warning for today due to forecasted heavy rainfall. The areas for which warnings have been issued are the northern and eastern parts of Herzegovina, as well as the western and partly central parts of Bosnia.

The expected amount of precipitation in the above areas is mainly between 30 and 70 liters per square meter, and in the northern areas of Herzegovina, locally between 90 and 140 liters per square meter are expected.

Light to moderate winds, occasionally with strong gusts, will blow from the south and southwest. In Herzegovina and in the southwest of Bosnia, strong gusts of wind are occasionally possible.

Morning air temperature from 10 to 16, and daily from 12 to 18, in the northeast of Bosnia up to 22 degrees.
