Orban: Ukraine’s EU Accession will lead to Europe’s Bankruptcy

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Brussels’ policy is aimed at military support for Ukraine, whose accession to the EU will lead to the bankruptcy of Europe.

“Brussels wants to accelerate Ukraine’s membership in the EU, regardless of the price. We cannot allow our children to pay for Brussels’ globalist fantasies,” Orban said.

He stated that “European money is being brought to Ukraine in trolleys, and the EU economy is experiencing an acute shortage of funds.”

“We must admit that without the United States, we will not be able to finance either the Ukrainian army or the Ukrainian economy,” Orban said.

In addition, Orban said, EU leaders are trying to ensure that Ukraine’s accession to the EU is accelerated by 2030.

“To finance this process, Brussels plans to take out a “huge loan,” which will lead to EU debt,” Orban stressed.

He told the citizens of Europe that “the clock is ticking,” RT Balkan reports.

“It is time to come out of the dream world and wake up those who are still sleeping,” Orban said on the social network “X”.

He stated that Hungary’s position is that the European economy will “suffer” until peace comes to Ukraine.

“In this sense, the EU should support peace initiatives to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, and not hinder US negotiations with Ukraine and Russia,” Orban said.

The Hungarian prime minister’s warning came after EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos announced that Ukraine and Moldova would jointly open the first negotiating cluster within the EU accession process.
