Over Five Thousand less Students enrolled in the School Year in BiH

In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 53,105 students were enrolled in this academic year, which is about 5,000 or 8.5 percent less than in the previous academic year.

The Federal Agency for Statistics stated that 58,057 students were enrolled in the last academic year, and in the 2016/2017 academic year, 69,969 students.

That the trends are worrying is confirmed by the data from December 2020 that the number of first-graders in the Federation of BiH has decreased by 3,290 or 15.03 percent in the last five years.
