Revenues from indirect taxes for the first nine months of 2025 amounted to nine billion and seven million KM, which is 513 million KM more or about six percent more than in the same period last year, the Indirect Taxation Administration (ITA) of BiH announced.
During the first nine months, the Administration refunded one billion and 634 million KM of VAT to taxpayers who had exercised their legal right to a VAT refund.
Net revenues collected for distribution to beneficiaries, at the level of BiH, the entities and the Brčko District, amounted to seven billion and 373 million KM, which is 5.73 percent more than the revenues distributed to beneficiaries for the first nine months of 2024.
The statement states that one billion and 120 million KM of indirect taxes were collected in September, which is 130 million KM more than in the same month last year.
749 million KM was allocated for financing the institutions of BiH, and the rest of the collected revenues from indirect taxes were distributed to the entities and the Brčko District.
The Federation of BiH received four billion and 72 million KM from the single account, the Republika Srpska two billion and 281 million KM, and the Brčko District 228 million KM.
Based on the special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads, the FBiH received an additional 185 million KM, the Republika Srpska 122 million KM, and the Brčko District six million KM.
The difference represents a reserve in the special account for tolls in the amount of 0.25 KM, the Administration explained.
