At today’s session of the Government of Sarajevo Canton, a conclusion was adopted according to which 4,500 packages of food products and hygiene products will be distributed from the commodity reserves of Canton Sarajevo for the most endangered categories of the population in CS.
With today’s conclusion, the Government instructed the CS Commodity Reserves Directorate to realize this donation within its competencies and in accordance with positive legal regulations, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, Social Policy, Refugees and Displaced Persons, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Cantonal Center for Social Work.
“According to the distribution plan, 2,709 packages are intended for users of the right to a hot meal in soup kitchens, the right to permanent financial assistance, and users of the right to financial compensation for assistance and care by another person over 65, while for veterans population planned distribution of 1,500 packages. The packages will contain basic foodstuffs and hygiene products, such as flour, oil, pasta, rice, meat slices, pate and detergents,” the CS Government announced.
