Incredible scenes from Gaza have gone viral on social media after a man was filmed transporting an enormous load – entire furniture, including mattresses, wardrobes, and other items – neatly stacked on the roof and trunk of an old Mercedes model V123.
Despite the overload, the iconic yellow Mercedes, a variation of the legendary W123 model, moves effortlessly along a dusty road, with several people sitting on the front bumper and roof, further emphasizing the durability of this vehicle. This has delighted social media users, many of whom commented that Mercedes-Benz should reward the owner for the incredible use of their vehicle.
The W123 model, produced between 1976 and 1985, is known for its longevity and robustness. While many examples of this model have long since been retired from roads in developed countries, they continue to serve as unstoppable transport vehicles in many parts of the world, including the Middle East and Africa. This video from Gaza further confirms its status as one of the most durable cars of all time.
The photo and video sparked a wave of reactions, with users tagging Mercedes-Benz’s official profile and humorously suggesting that the company should gift the owner a new model, Klix.ba writes.
