Party leaders arrived at the meeting of the opposition, which is being held today in Banja Luka.
Namely, the representatives and leaders of the Safe Srpska Movement (PSS), the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) and the People’s Front (NF) will hold a joint meeting.
The president of the Safe Srpska Movement, Draško Stanivuković, the president of the People’s Front, Jelena Trivić, and the president of the Serbian Democratic Party, Branko Blanuša, arrived at the meeting.
It is assumed that this meeting will discuss the candidates for the upcoming elections in BiH, as a final agreement has not yet been reached on the candidacies for the two most important positions: the president of the Republic of Srpska and the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency.
Stanivuković, let’s recall, invited the opposition parties to a meeting a few days ago with the aim of, as he stated, preventing the new assignment of the Republika Srpska planned by the Government of the Republika Srpska. Otherwise, a session of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska should be held in the coming days. At that session, budget rebalancing and additional debt of 500 million KM should be considered.
“We are responsible people. We don’t have much time left. I call on the President of the National Assembly not to put this on the agenda, I call on the Government of Republika Srpska to withdraw this,” Stanivuković said, Nezavisne writes.
