“This was one nice gathering with the aim of showing to all the people how to live, showing our leaders at the top of the state and even politicians that we can live together. The Inter-religious Council has eight projects planned for this year where they should realize different gatherings, travels and visits to various religious structures with the aim of introducing young people to the culture and religion of other people in order for young people to realize that we are all humans and we all believe in the same God,” said, among other things, priest Slavisa Djuric.
Imam Vehid ef. Arnaut said that he is happy that this initiative came from “colleagues Zoran and Slavisa” and that made him particularly encouraged and pleased.
“We gladly accepted this idea because it says much more than what we could possibly say about our joint commitment and it shows another very important thing for us and that is the justification of the formal establishment of the Inter-religious Council, which will try to make a new step of sending a message of unity and mutual cooperation through this activity,” said imam Arnaut.
The priest Slavisa Djuric said that he is very happy to attend the iftar dinner organized by the Inter-religious Council.
