The Association states that the Euribor (the reference interest rate established on the European interbank market for the euro currency) has not risen this year and that the interest rate is not expected to come out of the minus.
They point out that all interest rates from one month to one year are in a minus -0.36 to -0.109 percent.
They also point out that the change in the interest rate in Euribor can be in prominence, and this in no way affects the interest rate in BiH.
“In BiH, there is so much competition among banks that the offer is much higher than demand, which means there is no option to increase interest rates,” said the director of the Banking Association of BiH Berislav Kutle.
