The football national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will play in the play-offs for the World Cup after they drew two days ago in Vienna against Austria 1:1. The Dragons will be in the third pot in the draw, and our potential rivals are also known.

BiH, as an unseeded team, will be in the third pot, and possible rivals are from the second pot, and these are: Wales, Czechia, Slovakia, and Poland.

In the third pot, alongside our national team, there are also the teams of Ireland, Albania, and Kosovo, and they, as well, as unseeded teams, will play against one of the national teams from the second pot.

The draw for the World Cup play-offs is scheduled for today in Zurich, starting at 1 p.m. our time, and the live broadcast will be available on the official FIFA website.

In the play-offs, one semi-final and one final match are played, and we will play the semi-final match as guests, given that we are unseeded, meaning the hosts will be the teams from the second pot.

On the other hand, the final pairs are determined by the draw, as well as the hosts in the final matches, and our rival in the final would be one of the teams from the first or fourth pot, depending on which “path” of the draw we end up in.

It is worth noting that the teams from the fourth pot will play the semi-final against the teams from the first pot.
