According to the US Geological Survey, an earthquake struck Iran on Friday 16km from Sorkheh, in Semnan province. The recorded depth was 10km, the Guardian reports.
No casualties have been reported yet.
A 5.1-magnitude earthquake has struck northern Iran, the US Geological Survey said, as Israel carried out air strikes across the country.
Iran’s Tasnim news agency said the 5.2-magnitude quake struck at a depth of 10km.
