Presentation of books by Angelina Petrović in Chamber Theatre 55 on 25 April

Croat Cultural Society ‘Napredak’ will organise a promotion of the book ‘Čistač’ and ‘Psiha’ by famous Serbian author Angelina  Petrović. The promotion will be held today, 25 April in Chamber Theatre 55, reports Fena.

Petrović was born in 1966 in Dovlićima in BiH, finished high-school in Belgrade, and faculty in Zrenjanin.

She worked as a professor for several years in Obrenovac, and lived for several years in Bern where she published short stories and poems in Diaspora magazines.

In 2011 she published her first novel called ‘Psiha’ which received the award ‘Pegaz’, and in the same year she published short story ‘Stepenik’ in the book ‘Pegaz-pečat vremena’.

She finds inspiration in Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Goethe, etc.
