On Friday, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, met with the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, with whom, as he stated, he “continues a constructive dialogue”.
Plenković expressed his “concern about the current political crisis” in Bosnia and Herzegovina and called for “calming down of tensions”.
“We condemn moves that threaten the Dayton framework and the functionality of BiH. For Croatia, peace, stability and the European path of BiH are of strategic importance, as well as ensuring the full equality of Croats as a constituent nation,” he wrote on the X platform.
He once again emphasized the need for an urgent agreement on electoral reform that would ensure the legitimate representation of Croatian political representatives.
