This is the first visit of the President of the Croatian Parliament to the RS.
Leko will participate in the work of the international summit that would, under the motto “Peace and Reconciliation: A Step Forward!”, be held from 9-11 June in Banja Luka.
The meeting was spoken about today at the meeting of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the RS Radislav Jovičić with the Croatian Consul General in Banja Luka Dunjo Jevak and the liaison officer of the Interior Ministry of Croatia Toni Škrinjar.
They spoke of the cooperation of the RS and Croatian police, with a special emphasis on the last two international operations aimed at preventing drug trafficking of the name “Šetač“ and “Arka“.
Jovičić expressed willingness for further improvement in cooperation of the RS Interior Ministry with the Croatian police at all levels.
The liaison officer for the Croatian Interior Ministry Škrinjar said that the Croatian Ministry of Interior is ready to lend support to the RS Interior Ministry in the process of European integration related to meeting the requirements of Chapter 23 and 24 of the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU.
