Prevent’s ‘School of Textiles’ Began

preventThe free ‘school of textiles’ by Prevent began yesterday. A total of 20 participants will have the chance in the next few weeks to become familiar with the textile industry in B&H, its trends and potentials.

At the end of the program, all participants will get a certificate that would confirm that they are trained with a specific set of skills and knowledge, and they will be included in the database of potential employees of Prevent Fabrics, Prevent’s youngest members who created the entire project.

Director of Prevent Fabrics Tarik Kadrispahić, who said that Prevent Group is a pioneer in the region in launching production of textile materials in the post-war period, gave the introductory lecture at the opening of the school.

‘’This branch of industry has a great potential for development, and on the other hand high standards of technology and quality. So our goal is to have new methods and younger staff, which is why we started this school and we will make an additional step’’, said Kadrispahić.

Student of the school of Mechanical Engineering Nedim Klipo is one of the participants at this school, and he said that he sees Prevent as his future employer, while a graduate student of the Art Academy in the Product Design Department said that she is looking forward to a practical application of textile skills.

‘’During studies, we did not have the chance to directly encounter the process of production, so this school is the real thing for all of us who want new knowledge and further education’’, said Fatima.
