The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have shared a family photo and Christmas message, along with a new card and a video summarizing their charitable activities over the year.
In the photo posted on Instagram, Prince Archie hugs his father, while Meghan bends down and holds Princess Lilibet’s hand. The family stands on a wooden bridge in the woods, with the message – Happy Holidays! From our family to yours.
In addition, the Duke and Duchess have published a Christmas card and a two-minute video in which they showcased the work of their foundation. The video also features six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet, helping their parents prepare cookies ahead of Thanksgiving with a local charity.
The video shows the activities of the Archewell Foundation, which changed its name to Archewell Philanthropies on Friday.
“The foundation allows us to expand our global philanthropies as a family, together with children – Harry and Meghan stated on their official website.
The foundation was established in 2020, after the couple stepped down from royal duties and moved to the United States.
“On behalf of the Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell, we wish you happy holidays and a happy new year,” it is written in their Christmas card.
The announcement comes a day after the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine, unveiled a new family photo in their Christmas card, showing them surrounded by daffodils along with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Earlier this month, King Charles III and Queen Camilla released their Christmas card with a photo taken in Rome.
