The Council of Ministers of BiH yesterday adopted the proposal of the Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH, Ismir Jusko, for the establishment of the Office for supervision and accreditation of verifies prescribed by the Law on Electronic Signature in 2006.
The establishment of the Office will enable faster and easier establishment of electronic administration, which includes introduction of variety of electronic services intended for citizens, businesses and public administration.
In this way, said Minister Jusko, we create the possibility for BiH to implement e-services that are uniquely implemented for all EU members, and allows the recognition of e-signatures and e-commerce between BiH, EU and other countries.
Moreover, with the establishment of the Office, the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange (IDDEEA) will be able to implement electronic ID cards that will enable BiH institutions to provide electronic services to citizens, such as electronic-tax, electronic-health, electronic-education, electronic-business, electronic document management, and all the services that should be available to citizens and businesses in order not to have to come to the counters.
With the establishment of the Office for supervision and accreditation of verifiers, as well as development of the Ordinance on the application of electronic signature, full implementation of the Law on Electronic Signature, Law on Electronic Legal and Business Transactions and the Law on Electronic Document is expected.
