After the Russian president‘s spokesperson commented on Biden’s statements about Putin, Vladimir Putin himself has now spoken out.
At a recent event in California, Biden referred to Putin as “crazy son of bi***”, and this attitude of the United States (U.S.) president caused a series of reactions in Moscow.
Among other things, Putin characterized Biden’s statement as rude.
“I’ve said that we would cooperate with any president, but I believe that for us, for Russia, Biden is more preferable. Judging by what he said, I am completely right. This is an adequate reaction to what I said,” Putin stated.
Earlier, the spokesperson for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, also commented, saying that such statements demean Biden himself.
“It is unlikely that the use of such language against the leader of another state by the President of the U.S. will harm our President Putin, but it demeans those who use such language,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, was also sharp in her response.
“The next time Joe Biden decides to use such language, let him try to remember that Americans best associate it with his own offspring, namely Hunter Biden,” Zakharova said, Klix.ba writes.
