Landing of the inaugural flight QR 293 to Sarajevo International Airport is scheduled at 11:00 a.m., while the departure of the flight QR 294 from Sarajevo to Doha is scheduled at 12:00 p.m., International Airport Sarajevo confirmed to FENA.
Travelers from Doha to Sarajevo and back will fly on an Airbus A320, which has 12 seats in the business and 132 seats in the economy class. Flights are scheduled four times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. In addition to the rich gastronomic offer, travelers will have access to the top entertainment system, which offers the latest editions of movies, TV series, music, games, and much other content.
“Air links between Sarajevo and Doha will greatly facilitate travel to Qatar, especially to the ever-increasing number of BiH citizens living and working in that country. In addition to strengthening business connections, the introduction of the Doha-Sarajevo flight will significantly increase the number of BiH tourist visits. Lastly, this line will allow passengers from Sarajevo to continue to more than 150 destinations around the globe through the center of Qatar Airways (Hamad International Airport) from North and South America, Asia to far-off Australia,” Sanja Bagaric Arnaut of Sarajevo International Airport said.
