The proposal for change in the new draft stated that “Reality and pseudo-reality shows will be broadcasted only in the period from 12 p.m. and 6 a.m. This limitations is not applied to contents broadcasted with technical support, and audio-visual media services on demand”.
As a reminder, in early December the Democratic Youth Movement in B&H (DOP) launched a petition for abolition of broadcasting of reality show “Farma” at the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The petition was signed by more than 5,000 persons, and it was forwarded to RAK. In the petition, the members of DOP stated that it is time that the media space in B&H finally gets “arranged” and that a suitable time is determined for different shows, depending on the content of erotic, violence, and similar harmful suggestions.
At the session, the Council of RAK considered and adopted a set of proposals for amendments to the Code on commercial communications, Code on audiovisual media services and radio media services, the Rrules on the provision of audiovisual media services and Rules on the provision of radio media services.
