On their Facebook event page, they place the protests in B&H within a wider global context, calling it a ‘’wave of protests of citizens who no longer agree to the terms of the neo-liberal social contract’’. They write that the current political system, backed by neo-liberalism, has only served to widen social and economic inequality, with politicians removed from the concerns of the majority of their citizens.
