
Every person that assist in cleaning the flooded areas is obliged to have protective equipments such as- rubber boots, gloves, mask for nose and mouth, and one time use costume.
They should have with themselves bottled water, dry and canned food and on the field they should take care of hands hygiene, especially before eating and such.
They should keep away from power lines.
Every injury should be treated medically ( call the closest health institute) and to carry out anti- tetanus protection.
After returning from the flooded areas, one time use equipments should be thrown, and other tools should be cleaned and disinfected.
Also, they should wash hands, face and body.
Vehicles used for transport should be cleaned and disinfected after the return from the field.
In case of experiencing any symptoms such as: high temperatures, weakness, fatigue, abdominal pain, vomiting/diarrhea or signs of potential infectious illness, a doctor should be called, recommends sanitary- epidemiological service.
