
The total value of the project is around 17,3 million BAM, and implemented by 19 partners from nine countries in the Adriatic region, and financially supported by the EU through IPA-Adriatic Funds.
RA USK, as part of this project, managed to secure investment in the area of municipality Bihać in the amount of around 700.000 BAM, mainly from funds from the EU, and with the help of the Una-Sana government and municipality Bihać.
‘’The direct goal of this investment is the rehabilitation of the Old City of Sokolac and making tourist signs, and all for the purpose of tourism and with this, to improve the tourist offers of USK’’, said Director of RA USK Haris Komić.
He said that the indirect target, which will be achieved with the implementation of this project, is support of the sector of small and medium businesses in the form of creating opportunities for business improvement and creation of new jobs in the tourism sector.
Municipality Bihać will have all the necessary documents for the rehabilitation of Old City by the end of June, which is a prerequisite for the start of construction works.
