While Trebinje, Visegrad and Foca are threatened by dangers of high temperatures, wind and thunders, other areas are threatened by blows of wind up to 40 kilometers per hour and rain accompanied by thunders.
The rain brought refreshments on the north of our country last night, and this morning most of the roads in Zenica were under the water.
Anticyclone that affected our country had its peak on Monday and Tuesday when the temperature were reaching even 38 °C.
From the Federal Administration of Civil Affairs and the Republic Administration for Civil Protection stated that there were no problems caused by rainfall in the last 24 hours, but they announced that their team will react in cases of landslides, floods or other disasters.
“The most important thing is that we acted preventively and sent recommendations to the population in the fire season in case of rain and fire to ask for help from the air etc.,” said Director of FACA, Fahrudin Solak.
From the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute stated the rain was expected on the 11th of July and it will stay until the beginning of the next week.
“Tomorrow and during the weekend will be mostly cloudy and rainy, with temperatures ranging between 16 °C and 22 °C, during the weekend from 13 °C to 20 °C, and in the south up to 26 °C. On Monday will come to stabilization of weather, and the next week will bring high temperatures again. We expect temperatures up to 29 °C on Monday, but due to the high difference in relation to Sunday, we also expect the local showers at the beginning of the week,” said meteorologist Ibrahim Hadzismajlovic.
