With the national anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), under the roof of the Bosniak Cultural Center (BKC) in Basel, Switzerland, remedial classes in the Bosnian language began, Avaz reports.
”21 students have been enrolled in the school so far, and the interests of parents and children in the region are growing. For this reason, the enrollment of a larger number of students has been planned since August of the this year, and therefore the expansion of the project,” the BKC Administration stated.
Great contribution
They add that a great contribution to the success of this project was made by the teachers Halida Djogic and Mirsela Mehanic-Mujkic, who facilitated the realization of this project with their voluntary work for the first semester, and their right hand in this project as well as in communication with the cantonal authorities of Switzerland for education is the coordinator Sibela Karahasovic.
Classes are held on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Pratteln near Basel.
The management of BKC sincerely thanked the parents and students for their interest in this project, their members and school board, teachers and coordinator for their persistent work, and the Embassy of BiH as well as the cantonal authorities of Switzerland for their support.
