In the first five months of 2017, the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) collected 2 billion and 690 million BAM. This represents an increase of 145 million BAM or 5.69 % in comparison to the same period in 2016 when they amounted to 2 billion and 545 million BAM.
A total of 577 million BAM of indirect taxes was collected in May 2017, which is 58 million BAM more compared to May 2016.
After the completion of refunds of VAT to taxpayers, which amounted to 504 million BAM in the first five months of 2017, net collected revenues that went to distribution in the period January-May 2017 to the state, entities and Brcko District, amounted to 2 billion and 185 million BAM, and they are higher by 68 million BAM in comparison to revenues that users received from the Single Account in the same period in 2016.
For financing of state institutions in the period January-May 2017 was allocated the amount of 306 million BAM: to the FBiH was distributed 1 billion and 190 million BAM, to the RS was distributed 610 million BAM, and to Brcko District was distributed a total of 66 million BAM.
Besides the distributed revenues, on the basis of a special tax for construction of motorways (0.10 BAM) in the period January-May 2017, the FBiH received additional 29.5 million BAM, the RS received 19.5 million BAM and Brcko District received a total of 1 million BAM.
